  Ikea is fun if you like to change your home a lot.. Simple and easy to use. But more every day stuff not so much for ever wenn your home is not really yours it's good

  My daughter has just set up home in Gottinegen and spent a lot of money at Ikea, Kassel. The delivery man was rude and miserable. Whilst on a short visit from England to help our daughter set up home my wife and I made a special trip to Ikea. We went to purchase a table which showed as in stock on their web site. When we arrived It was NOT in stock. I explained we were only here for a few days and my daughter had no transport so could reserve the item and come back when it was definitely available but was told this was not possible. Frustrated by their unhelpfulness I asked to see a manager to complain and was told to wait in line at customer service ( for up to 45 mins ). No thanks. Most German people are friendly and helpful. Ikea Kassel are happy to take your money but not very good at customer relations. I left angry and disappointed but I'm sure they don't care.
