Country Bavarian style place. Very cozy and feels like family. If you don't mind that there's a cow barn next door, you will love the experience

I enjoyed my stay here, the staff as a whole were typically friendly, with one in particular a standout (sorry forgot her name, it's the Irish lady) who went to a great deal of effort helping us organise our single full day in the area.

I struggle in general with German food beyond a good schnitzel but was happy with the food as a whole.

Great staff and very comfortable room. Watch your head in doorways if your near or over 6' tall. Left Schwangau with great memories and a small bump on my head :) Check out their selection of souvenirs in the lobby. Smaller selection but definitely better prices than up on the mountain.

Stayed for two nights in April. Very clean rooms with tea and coffee. Food was very nice. 5 minutes drive to castles. Nice and quiet place to stay. Church in the meadow a must see

Awesome experience! Everyone was very helpful. Rooms are clean, small, but a true traditional Bavarian style. The lady at the reception gave us a discount card which can be used for local attractions, bus, etc. Free parking is just a few steps away. In addition, we received cards for two complementary drinks at the restaurant on the main floor. Food there is absolutely great and decently priced. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety of food. It was nice of the hotel staff to reserve a table for us. Location was great, especially if you are spending a day visiting Neushwanstein and the local town of Fussen.
