Clue is in the namebudget, also pretty basic furnished, location a bit off beaten track.
Good
The room was completely different from other Ibis Budget hotels I've stayed. Bad quality. The receptionist was EXTREMELY unpleasant. The location is a bit far but I cant complain on this one as I knew where it was.
Very bad experience. It is a pity since other Ibis Budget places I've stayed were very good.
Even for a "cheap" motel (2 persons, 41 euro without breakfast) below average. Don't pay more, just try to book via a different site or when you arrive. There is a machine to book your own room if you are late. It is near, but not too near the highway, you only have some local traffic noise. You don't need an umwelt sticker for your car here. But there is no good public transport to the city Leipzig.
The staff is friendly enough during check-in.
The interior of the rooms is small, cheap and outdated with stains on the carpet. The two persons bed is small, pillows are very thin and the blanket is also really nothing. There is a private little shower and a separate sink so your basic needs are covered. There is no shower soap by the way. There is no air-conditioning and our non smokers room didn't smell really fresh.
Our neighbors where quite noisy during the night. There are only two electricity outlets and the wifi is OK for messaging but not for downloading offline maps for example (slow or capped). Multiple wifi connections are allowed. I would only advise to stay here if you don't have any other choise or higher budget.
Poor but cheap hotel near the autobahn. Other guests were noisy late at night. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night due to someone smoking in the room. The breakfast was poor also.
The place is okay for a one-night stay on your way to Berlin. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good and complete. Rooms are small-ish, the bathroom we got was clean but small and without air vents.
