Cheap, clean, no frills hotel, perfect if just passing through. A short drive away from the town, which has lots of nice restaurants and a supermarket

Very cheap and very good standard for the price. The area is very calm. We forgot to roll up the window on the car over night and nothing was missing in the morning.

One hour before I arrived, they canceled my reservation because I do not have a credit card. I planned to arrive at 20:00. Why did not they tell me this when I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance?
This really screwed up my plans for that night. Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star even though they do not deserve it.

We recently stayed in an Ibis Budget in Calais and I must say this one restored our faith in them. It was clean, the staff were friendly and we had a really good nights sleep. So take our advice and if you stay at the one in Calais do not think it sets the standard there are lovely Ibis budget hotels and this is one of them.
