Sehr schones Lokal, ideal zum Einkehren am Nachmittag, da ist auf der Sonnenterrasse nicht nur der Gipfel der Zugspitze zu sehen, sondern es ist in den Weinlauben auch sehr gemütlich. Kaffee und Kuchen sind sehr lecker und gar nicht teuer.

WIr haben hier 6 Nächte mit Halbpension übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber, einen Fön gibt es auch im Bad und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Chefin kommt aus Hamburg und freut sich natürlich über ganz besonders über Gäste aus Ihrer alten Heimat. Wir haben zum Zimmer auch Halbpension genommen. Das Frühstück ist normal, nichts besonderes aber auch nicht schlecht. Das Abendessen im Urigen Restaurant des Hauses ist immer sehr gut gewesen. Jeden Abend gab es für uns Vorspeise, Salat, zwei Hauptgerichte zur Wahl und ein Dessert. Für meine Freundin die Vegetarierin ist gab es auch immer ein extra Hauptgericht. Das Hotel liegt nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Schwimmbad und von der Zugspitzbahn entfernt. Wir konnten also morgens immer ganz locker zur Bahn laufen und nachmittags noch in die Sauna gehen. Unser Auto haben wir direkt vorm Haus parken können. Ich würde das Hotel jedem ans Herz legen der eine gute Unterkunft abseits des Trubels von Garmisch sucht, ohne auf die Annehmlichkeiten eines Ski Urlaubs verzichten zu wollen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Daher 5 Sterne.

Habe auf meiner Radtour hier übernachtet und war rundum zufrieden. Außer einem Fön im Zimmer ist alles vorhanden, was man als Radler braucht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Wir wollten parken und uns umsehen. Da kam der Chef raus und hat uns vor allen Gästen die auf der Terasse saßen komplett unnötig angebrüllt, dass wir unser Auto woanders parken sollen. Er hat meinen Freund angefasst und wollte einen Streit anfangen. Wir waren die ganze Zeit schon in Richtung Auto und er hat uns immer nur noch nachgebrüllt. Ich war komplett geschockt und würde nie nie nie dieses Café oder Hotel besuchen oder weiterempfehlen. Absolut unmöglich!

We have stayed at Hotel Nuss twice. We found the experience extremely nice the first time. Our large group got pretty rowdy several evenings in the main dining room and were greeted by Germans in a very friendly way despite our boisterous tourist behavior! Their family ate dinner in the dining room with all of the rest of us which we thought was great! The second time was a bit quieter but, the atmosphere was still very Bavarian, cozy and warm with a country style. The rooms were very nice, the bathrooms were absolutely spotless and the view was excellent, postcard photos right from our balcony! The breakfast was to die for, everything you can imagine in a buffet style as well as an excellent menu selection! I loved the hard rolls with a wide variety of meats and cheeses with hefe weizen for breakfast! They had a nice bar! The food and beverages were all excellent! Especially the Bavarian Beer which is world famous from this region. This alone is reason enough to travel there in my opinion! There was shopping right on the same street and also close by. Garmish Parten-Kirchen is also just down the street. Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany was only a short drive, which we also enjoyed immensely on both occasions! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and Zugspitze as well. Both times were a real treat! I felt the owners (Tom and his wife) paid special attention to us on both visits! I am sure they will probably do the same for you also!
