Great hotel and restaurant. The only downside is the bar, where people can smoke, so as a non-smoker it's not much fun, although the drinks and ambient are good.

This is a lovely hotel with a warm and professional staff, run by the Kunz family who are from Winzeln and know the area and its history well. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice beds and bathrooms. My room looked out over the street in front of the hotel and offered a nice view as well as abundant fresh air. The restaurant is first rate with delicious cuisine of the area and very good service from the staff. They also feature local wines and beers. I highly recommend the Hotel-Restaurant Kunz in Pirmasens-Winzeln Germany.

Place seemed to have stopped their development in 90' the restaurant was posh and the food wasn't fresh.
