Only reviewing the Steak restaurant, not the Hotel! Ordered a medium rare steak was cooked well done, not something you would expect from a Steakhouse! The Twisters were soggy and black. Never again. Definitely not what you pay for!

We had a very pleasant stay. Room was nice, large and clean. Parking was easy. Friendly staff.

This is a hotel managed by a passionate entrepreneur/restaurateur/kitchen chef - what a great combination for a hotel! The location is also very convenient and although very close to the centre, it's not really noisy unless you open the windows. Service of all staff members is good and friendly, food/wine choice is extremely good: from generous breakfast buffet to superb dinner ensemble. The chef/owner is very much involved in the day-to-day running of the hotel and that's a good thing. We enjoyed our stay and were very contented and happy - we know where we will book next time we are in Winterberg!response / report this review -

We enjoyed our stay here. The personel was usually friendly, sometimes a bit short in their explanations. There was a little bit of noise from the street and the pub across the street. The breakfast was very good, lot of choice. The dinner was very nice, good atmosphere, friendly waiters and excellent food.
