Too expensive for what it is: a bit old fashioned, personnel little qualified, and the owners seem to not really be willing to invest in either updating or upgrading the infrastructure in the rooms. We travel to avoid hosting people there. Better value for money at Domicil and the new Ibis at Blaue Brücke, the latter also boasting a nice bar with good food on it's ground floor.

I spent one night here on my week in Wurttemberg. I would give this hotel a 6 star rating if I could.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. My room was quiet, clean, nice comfortable bed, and the bathroom was very spacious and nice. Free wi-fi worked well. Excellent full German breakfast was included in my room rate.

Excellent location quite close to historic center of the town and near the train station. Easy walk to the central restaurants/bars/shopping areas.

I recommend this hotel very highly.

The hotel is very centrally located, in walking distance across the river from the old part of the town. Newly designed and big rooms. Friendly, English-speaking staff. Breakfast could need an upgrade from the conference room.

Fantastic 4-star hotel with a blended style of modern and traditional design. The breakfast was delicious, always including fresh breads and other warm dishes. The two restaurants also fit the innovative blend of the generations with a modern cafe and a traditional German restaurant. I stayed here for an extended period while working in the area, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is also very central in the city, so all means of tourist attraction and local necessity (ie grocery and drugstore) are within walking distance.

Wonderfull hotel in a wonderfull little city. We enjoyed both restaurants very much, the gorgeous breakfast, the spa area and a very nice superior double room. For the next visit, we defenitly will stay again at Krone Hotel !
