The hotel was ok. No more, no less. Just what you need to sleep a night during a journey. Good beds, confortable room, clean bathroom, equipped, wifi etc. Breakfest could be better, frankly. But if I need to sleep a night in Ansbach, I'd go there again.

Wonderful service, great food, I've had almost everything on the menu and it is all fresh and delicious! A very cozy dining room and outdoor seating that are both dog friendly. This is a great place for lunch and dinner. A must visit when in Ansbach!

The rooms were nice and food was delicious. The only problem is that there is nothing for kids here.

Gross gut, Outstanding is the only word to describe the Gastof Zur Windmuhle. We are a military family that was assigned to Katterbach Kasserne we stayed here for three weeks as there was no tempory housing available. The Family and staff treated us like good friends recomending places to see and take our two young sons taking time teaching my wife to count and pleasantries in deutsch and our whole family local customs and pleasantries, how not to embarass ourselves and patiently helped me with my broken formal German. The food was always excellent the atmosphere relaxed if i get a chance to return to Deutschland this is a must stop for me. No air-conditioning is the norm except for tourist traps takes a little getting used to but its a small price and I have lived far worse. I have been around the world and stayed in all sorts of hotels including the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong I would definitely take the Windmule in a heartbeat. If the Sturm family reads this Danke for everything we will not forget your gracious hospitality and making this family feel at home with good friends, Cheers
