Its Beautiful
Hangulatos. Jó a reggeli.
Very good. Cleanly rooms.
The other review, for Non-German speaking readers, says the big "negative" is the church bells. They would be correct on this, as they go off every 15 minutes beginning at 6am and ending at 7pm. But I am in the middle of a 4 week stay at this hotel and this is the only possible negative thing I can thing of as well. And after a day or two, you don't even really notice it. It adds ambience and charm and you learn how to tell the local time from audible cues. As to the hotel, I can't say enough good things about it. The people are extremely friendly, helpful, attentive and courteous. The facilities are spotless. The rooms tidy and efficient and well-appointed. The breakfast is a feast for a king - even when you are the only guest. And it is positioned at an absolutely ideal location. Two minutes by foot to the right exiting the hotel you are at the train station. To the left is a footpath that bisects the city and leads you to all the shopping and food options. Right next door is Spetzmans, a cafe with the most decadent deserts and chocolate you will find outside of Switzerland or Papa Haydens in Portland. A wonderful place to sit outside with a coffee and a torte, watching the people go by. Finally, Iserlohn is NOT a tourist town, really. So most of the people are locals. They are a friendly, helpful lot and if you need someone who speaks English, look for someone under 25. They learn English in school and through the Internet and can usually be counted upon to politely help you out.
