Rooms were a bit old, but very big and with nice furniture. I loved the breakfast, especially the eggs. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic.

Another place at the Weinstrasse where you can feel the wind of history.
That time German chancellor Helmut Kohl brought Margret Thatcher, Michail Gorbachev, John Major, Václav Havel, Jacques Chirac, Romano Prodi and others in the 1980/90s to Deidesheimer Hof, heavy local cuisine from the Pfalz and great politics.
Deidesheimer Hof is another great place for the local speciality Saumagen. Who would know this better than Helmut Kohl knew? Tust!

This was my first meal in Germany and the food was fantastic. If it is available, i highly recommend the duck breast. I learned that the restaurant became quite famous because it was a favorite of one of Germany's previous chancellors.
