Ok
Modern clean rooms. New bathrooms with rainshower. Good healthy breakfast.
Zentral gelegen, sehr freundliche Angestellte,
Kind people, free Wi-Fi, fairly good food.

It was several years ago that I stayed at hotel Garni Beck, however it is an experience I won't soon forget! With the exception of being in Lauscha during the hottest week in the year (and no one has air conditioning!) It was a wonderful hotel with clean & cozy rooms, a friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts! It really felt like a home away from home, with the cozy beer garden and relaxing atmosphere. If I ever return to Lauscha (and I plan to one day!) I will stay at hotel Garni Beck again! I recommend to anyone interested in a town seeped in history, Lauscha is an amazing place to visit! As a glass artist, it was like a fairytale land, with over 80 glass studios, glass factories, museums, historical studios, and very close to castles with amazing historical glass collections. For those who don't know, Lauscha is where glass Christmas tree ornaments originated, as well as glass eyeballs & glass marbles! There is a beautiful Glass Princess crowned every year & if you go be sure to visit Thomas Muller-Litz in his studio & see John Zinners unbelievable red devils & aliens, and don't forget Walter Hellbechs insanely real looking glass eyes! If you go during the August town festival week, you'll be sure to have the time of your life!
