Better then baywa and other stores. They are HUGE and sell almost everything.

Horrible customer service. I went to buy some things from Hornbach on 18 Jan 2017, and was shocked at how rude the employees are. I walked up smiling, and asked in a friendly way (in German) where to find a couple of items - they refused to acknowledge my existence, or even make eye contact with me, they would not look up from what the computer, just ignored me. This happened with 3 different employees. When I paid, there was a long queue, only one cashier was open. When I left, I went the wrong way, and then had to go back to customer service to ask where the exit was - they treated me like a criminal, like I was trying to steal things - and demanded to see my receipt, and made me wait in the queue again, just so the cashier could check my receipt and check all the things I had bought, only then was I allowed to leave. It was a completely shocking experience, I cannot believe how badly I was treated in Fuerth Hornbach. AVOID this shop. Message to Hornbach: your employees need to have a little respect for customers!!!!!
