Well equipped gym with everything needed. Also nice spa area
Always finding way to improve the experiance of the members e.g. refurbisged shake bar and new & interesting classes
High end gym in a unique former power plant. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Sports a 25m swimming pool as well as a broad range of typical gym machines.
Overall a nice gym experience. The facilities are clean and the equipment is fairly new. Even at peak times, I rarely have difficulty using the machines of my choice. The course offerings are varied and a nice change of pace, I recommend the float fit class. That being said, it is a bit pricey in comparison to other gyms in the area.
This is a great gym experience. Definitely more expensive then other gyms in the area, but this is reflected in the quality of the equipment and staff. The locker rooms have spacious lockers and clean facilities. Gym staff can easily be found and they are always friendly to help
Expensive, but well equipped and all staff are happy to assist in English and German for any expatriates.
Normally I train at Holmes Place in Berlin (Potsdamer Platz or Gendarmenmarkt). All studio's are at the same level, although the wellness area in Hamburg is much smaller compared to Berlin. Service personal is very friendly and the trainers are involved and advice "novice" studio guests. In general the training area and the locker-area are clean (always difficult to keep up the standard during the rush hours). The Studio rush hours are between 1800-2000 and the pool between 0700-0900. Most guests are friendly sport enthusiasts who train for themselves. It is not a place to meet new people or make new friends. The ratio between men and women is 1:1. In the morning hours the Studio looks like the Florida coast line (all above the age of 65). I have been training in some other Studios like McFit or Fitness First (platinum) but the are definitely not at the same level as this studio.
