That place is the bomb. Try to get a seat on the terrace if weather permits and check the big ships leaving the harbour. The view is outright gorgeous and the foot is too. Had eel wrapped in bacon (What is not good when its wrapped in bacon) but seriously, this was very tasty and my wifes salmon was cooked to perfection as well. Pricing for the main dishes is anywhere between 20 and 30 EUR roughly. Absolutely fair and the drinks are well priced as well.
Oh and cause some people complained about the staff which was a concern to me but it turned out to be a perfect experience with a very attentive waiter.
Small hint: When leaving the place, take a stroll along the shoreline towards city centre and you will came across a place called Strand Pauli which is an artificial caffee del mar type beach bar setup with palm trees( yes palm trees in Hamburg) and a DJ spinning on the turntables. Very awesome this place to finish the evening.response / report this review
