  Bavarian beer hall serving local beer and food. Service is friendly but slow when busy. Prices are reasonable. Book ahead as it gets quite full. Note that this is a noisy place for groups.

  Nice staff and great beer and food. We went during off peak time (between lunch and dinner) and there was plenty of seating and quick friendly service

  An honest "local" bar with the the best schnitzel in Munich. The bier isn't too bad either!

  Noisy, cosy, friendly. Don't expect high culture, this is real culture! I came on my own and didn't feel concerned. I ate honest Bavarian food and enjoyed it. I drank beer and made friends. Can we model a world on this?

  It's a pretty good Bavarian restaurant. You should try it f you want to eat something typical. There are big tables and it will get noisy if full

  Haidhauser Augustiner was recommended by Katie at Stadt Rosenheim hotel. It was very busy on the Friday night, the atmosphere felt good so we had a couple of beers at the bar and watched Bayern Munich play on the big TV before going elsewhere.
  The next night we got there a little earlier and they were able to squeeze us in, sharing a table with firstly an English chap, then later a German couple (who used to live in Munich and said this was their favourite place to go) and we had a nice evening.
  The food is Bavarian, so lots of pork and potato dishes, but there is a reasonable choice of vegetarian dishes.
  Waitresses were friendly with good English, prices are reasonable.
  Overall a good place to go.

  Small traditional German restaurant with really good food, cold beer and a great overall experience. Great place to meet friends for a beer or for dinner. I recommend the "Schweinshaxen", it's great here!
