  Popular for good reason, as service is hard working and friendly, the food is not just delicious but comes piping hot having clearly been cooked and prepared freshly. Their beer is delicious in an understated way, and the bar area provides an almost alpine-lodge pub feel which I quite liked. The beer choice alone which takes in the best of traditional franconian ale and the draught beer is kept well. Much to recommend.

  Great place to have German dishes! The food is very good and it's not expensive at all. Really decent prices, nice beer variety and nice ambient. I definitely recommend it.

  Excellent food and service, traditional franconian dishes and nice housebrew beer.
  I recommend anything before you go there as the portions are massive.

  Such good food! We literally came back from Munich before they closed to eat their sauerbrautten. Great price, really friendly staff and.so accommodating. Love this place.

  I've been going to Nuremberg for many years. The Schäufele they served here was one of the best I've ever had - crispy, yet the meat was juicy and melted like butter.
  For those that drink alcohol, they have what appears to be quite a selection of unusual options.
  The venue itself is traditional and somewhat quaint. Service was very friendly.

  Excellent food and great beer! I had the hirschsteak and it was very good. Always be sure to order the sauerkraut on the side, too, as they do a great job of that here as well. It was a long trip away from San Diego, but well worth it once we got here. ;-). Top marks for the food, the great vibe, and the amazing location. Well done!!

  Some of the best traditional German food we had on our entire trip. Massive portions, so come hungry! The schnitzel was great. Great beer selection. Highly recommend booking since this place can get fill up!

  Fantastic atmosphere. We were sat in the music room which was super nice. Amazing beer selection (though that isnt rare round here) but the service and food were phenomenal. Picturesque and tasty. Cheap too. Amaze
