Big place with a lot of tables. Got seated (two of us), only to be removed after we already started eating. Small beer - 0,2 only. The schwainehaxe was good, the wurst was a glorified hot dog. The apfel strudel was very, very good.

Casual brewery close to the cathedral and X-mas market. Good for lunch and dinner when no crowded. The home made beer is soft and nothing special but when it's warm is a good refreshment. Summer time there is a nice terrace always crowded but nice to have a beer looking at the cathedral.

Great beer and food pretty decent as well. Would have given 5 stars but waiter was very scarce even though it was not crowded at all. It seems an art in Cologne for waiters to ignore customers as much as possible.

Busy place, quick service, very good food. Unfortunately, one of our friends had to wait for her food while the rest of the group got it much sooner. We were not informed by the waiter that the food will arrive at different time. Still worth coming

Good food! The waiters kept the beer coming unless you told them to stop. It was packed and we asked a single lady to share the table and we had a good time. Each waiter has their designated table and might seem a little shruff but the waiter for our table was really nice and chatted with us. Gave us good tips for more sightseeing trips and which ones are not so useful. One star is missing because of the cigarette smoke which engulfed us.

Fabulous friendly servers. Castle alike restaurant. Huge dinning room and many small sections. Very reasonable price, We had three Haxe (Germany pork shank )with five beers billed Ero $52.50.

A must visit place. It is big but it gets really busy, don't be shy and get inside and try to get a table. Try some of the traditional dishes. The beer is not great but is affordable

Absolutely loved the place. Great atmosphere, great beer, and the food was delicious. Traditional German meals well worth trying! Cheap meals and the beers were too! Well worth a visit :) I wish they had Brauhaus 's like this in the UK

You must come to this place. Very curious place. Great food, and great beer. In small glasses so you don't have time to get it hot. Also you never find yourself without beer, as there are several waiters taking care of that :)
