Went to see the synagogue and paid 3 euros to visit the dome, which I review. I didn't see the exhibition in the hall. The dome was the WORST value for money I've experienced in my life. You literally can't see anything from up there. That aside, there's nothing to see from the inside as well. No interesting architecture, no exhibition, nothing. It was basically an empty flat with a guard and a "Don't take pictures" sign (the only thing to photograph was my disappointment). אכזבה.

5 stars when looking at the building from the street.
1 star once you get in, go through heavy security control, and are 'rewarded' with info about Jewish culture (which is good to know, given all that happened in Germany in the 1900s), some rests and a disappointing ascension to the dome, which has no sort of view at all.
Price is ridiculously high when compared to other museums in town.

I thought the 6 euros I spent to view the permanent collection and to go up to the dome was well worth it. You'll need to pass through heavy security and metal detectors to go inside. My sister and I stopped by on a sunny day, late afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. I learned a lot about Berlin--there are many interesting photos and archival pieces. Viewing the city from in top of the dome was worth it.

This is an absolute rip-off. Don't even bother paying to see the Dome, it's an empty room, with a limited view of the city. You can't take pictures of course, which makes sense since any photo would undoubtedly show you how scandalous this is.

Security was a bunch of c****, museum was rather boring, barely learnt anything. Wouldn't recommend.

A beautiful old synagogue, with (sadly)always police in front of it. They have an very interesting exhibition too, where you can learn something about the old Jewish life in Berlin. Recommendation

You'll know when your in the vicinity of this place thanks to the presence of the police who seem to be ever present at any Jewish site around Berlin. #Sobering
I didn't go in due to the large bus party already queued up. But the outside of the building is an architectural delight with some useful info boards outside to provide plenty of background info and old pics.
