Good place to visit along the Mosel river. Lots of walking streets with food and drink. Parking was pretty easy near the river. There is a Vinothek here that you can pay to go into the cellar and have free reign to taste 150 different wines. Beautiful seeing on the water. We did not see the ruins on the hillside unfortunately.

Wir haben hier eine Stunde Schifffahrt gemacht. Es war schön. Kinder sind sonntags kostenlos. Erwachsene kosten 10 Euro für 1 Stunde. Fahrten sind alle 30 Minuten.

In het wijn-rijke gebied langs de rivier 'de Moezel' met al haar eeuwenoude stadjes is veel te zien! Bijzonder in de tijd van de druivenoogst heerst hier een en al bedrijvigheid met als hoogtepunt de traditionele 'weinfeste'!

Beautiful town and popular tourist destination situated by the river Moselle. Huge Wine Festivals and Christmas Markets are held here. You can follow the locals up through the hilly Vinyards to watch the fireworks go off, up and around the Landshut Castle & Moselle river during Christmas time. Don't forget to buy a bottle or two or three before you go up. it's amazing! There is always so many delicious street food/beer/wine.
