Das Tal ist eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, den Alltagsstress hinter sich zu lassen und die Natur zu genießen. Es findet sich eine wunderschöne Landschaft mit Möglichkeiten, zu klettern. Auch habe ich hier mehrfach an einem kleinen Tümpel frei lebende Schidkröten gesehen. Ein Anblick, den es hierzulande nicht mehr oft gibt.

Túrázóknak, kerékpárosoknak egyaránt kitűnő terep. A természetvédelmi terület mellett végig egy kisebb aszfaltos út vezet, melyen kerékpárosok is közlekedhetnek. A Brenz folyó is itt folyik, mely még szebbé teszi a tájat. Számos szikla, kisebb völgy, domb teszi érdekessé a helyet. Alkalmas kezdő hegymászók számára, ugyanis vannak olyan sziklafalak, melyeket meglehet mászni.

Die abgebildeten Gebäude sind alle im Privatbesitz, was auch durch vielfach aufgestellte Schilder sowie Zäune und Ketten verdeutlicht wird. Die Rundwanderung auf beiden Seiten des Brenz ist aber super!

Very beautiful destination for trip in all year. But for Summer season is the best idea. Long walks in a green and sunny valley. Between the river and sandstone rocks of wonderful shapes.

A saga explains the origins of the "stone virgins" and the origin of the ruins of Eselsburg: "On the Eselsburg over the valley, a woman who had not been good enough for all the suitors was said to have lived. The lady of the castle grew older and the suitors stayed out. Then she hated all the men. Her hate went so far that she forbade her two maids to deal with men. When, however, a young fisherman once went out to the ice, they were said to have been transformed by the evil maid into the two "stone virgins." On the same evening a lightning bolt should have hit the Eselsburg. In the fire which he had kindled, the maid was burned.
