Amazing. Too cold to swim as it is fed through fresh mountain springs. But there is still activity on the water like paddle boarding. The area is in pristine condition. Not too touristy. Great mountain views.

Eibsee is simply serene and beautiful! The backdrop of mountains are breathtaking! There are several restaurants and amenities in the vicinity. And you are allowed to swim and do water activities in the lake!

Clear and calm lake. You can rent a pedal or rowing boat to sail around. There is also a boat making trips around the lake. Nice restaurants reside on the banks. There is a very beautiful walking path around the lake, but it's pretty long. You can take a cable car up the mountain to Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany. Keep in mind that this cable car ride will cost you.

Definitely worth a visit if the sun is shining. water is warm enough to swim a bit and crystal clear. The view is breathtaking. be sure to check the Eibsee out!

Beautiful mountain lake. The walk around the lake is most definitely worth it as one will be treated with very nice views. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes as the trail is not flat.
