  Wonderful, authentic German food in a great environment. No outside seating. Consider reservations. The first room on the right is a cozy spot in the restaurant for groups of 8-12 people.

  Certainly a nice place, great interior, kind staff and nice dishes, just that mine (pork filets) was dry, tiny and the sauce was lousy. Others seemed to be happy mostly with their choices though.

  Eigenlijk tweeëneenhalve ster.. Leuk pand, zowel van binnen als buiten de uitstraling van een oude herberg. Inrichting is met her en der in nisjes, keldertjes en bovenverdiepinkjes tafeltjes. Erg cosey. Nostalgische uitstraling.
  Personeel en eten zijn echter - ondanks nostalgische kaart - erg toeristisch bediening is helaas oppervlakkig vriendelijk en nogal gehaast, je krijgt snel de indruk dat je blij mag zijn dat ze een tafeltje voor je vinden en dat je er mag eten. Het eten zelf was zeker niet bijzonder, ook als is het serveren in een pan wel een leuke gimmick. Mijn gebakken aardappeltjes waren prima, de rode kool lichtelijk aan de (te) zure kant en de schnitzel was weliswaar aardig dun, maar veel te nat gebakken. Al met al geen goede en geen slecht ervaring, maar voorlopig wat mij betreft niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
  Prijsstelling was ongeveer hetzelfde: niet goedkoop en niet duur Met twee personen gegeten (2 hoofdgerechten) en gedronken (2 watertjes) voor € 50,- op veel plekken in Duitsland voor dat geld een stuk beter gegeten, al moet gezegd blijven worden dat de locatie wel top is

  This is a really nice place to eat traditional German dish. Try their pork ribs - it is awesome. Pork leg is good too - gotta watch out for those fats - still very yummy.
  Most of the dishes cost about 10-15 euros. They serve local munster beer - beer is ok.
