Restaurant mit gutbürgerlicher Küche, man könnte auch sagen mit Badischer Küche. Alles sehr gut und fachgerecht zubereitet, was aber nicht verwundert, denn hier kochen Vater und Sohn.

Weiterhin kann man die Zimmer loben, man wohnt mitten im Ort, trotzdem vollkommen ruhig, außerdem mit Blick auf die Burgruine.

Wir gehen sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant weil man zuvorkommend bedient wird und die Speisen ausgezeichnet zubereitet werden. Das beginnt schon mit einem kleinen Gruß aus der Küche und einer schmackhaften Rinderbrühe mit Markklößchen oder Leberspätzle. Die Hauptspeisen sind sehr variabel und erst die Desserts nicht zu verachten. Deshalb kommen auch viele Franzosen aus dem nahen Elsaß hierher. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Friendly staff and gracious inn keeper hostess. We did not have a reservation, they were very busy at the supper hour and the hostess owner settled us into a very cozy room. Delicious meals in family friendly environment. Cannot wait to return.

We loved this hotel and little town. We wish we had stayed just one night. We had a wonderful meal in the hotel right after we arrived. We drove here and was able to have a parking lot right in the back of the hotel. The space is limited so you need to reserve early and make sure. Otherwise, it is possible to park in a public parking somewhere else. The kids sharing a room of 3 bed with a cute little balcony with a view to the town. The staff were very friendly. On next day we are leaving, we found a bakery store and bought some bakery and Black Forest cake to enjoy on the following trip. We asked if they have some recycled utensil we can use on the road, they managed to find some and ran to us while we almost drove out.

This is also a very lovely town and friendly people. We definitely will visit and stay longer if we have a chance in the future.

I had a great experience at the Krone, the food and the staff were great! The next time I visit Germany again I will stay at the Krone.
