Great value, underground parking (additional charge, but only € 6,50 a safe/closed parking place), quiet (though sounds travels somewhat through rooms) and good breakfast! Rooms (especially "elevated sleeping level) can become hot at summer nights

Nette Arrangierte Zimmer, aber in einem schrecklichen Zustand.

Die Fotos der Website sind nicht generell gelogen, aber sehr günstig fotografiert.

In unserem Zimmer waren überall lose Kabel.
Dreck in allen Ecken, Flecken, Staub und Beschädigungen.
Auch ein Nachttisch inkl. Telefon fehlte einfach.

Fazit: Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!

very hospitable staff, free parking and Internet. loft room boiling bit fine when window was opened at night. chep and cheerful and was able to get a cold beer at 12 am.

Lovely death trap.
I stayed there during the 2013 Wave-Gotik-Treffen music festival. It was already farther north of the city center circle than I wanted to be, but I booked late for WGT. But what the hell, I found a place, right?
Well I wish I had kept looking. The beds were up in a loft up some steep narrow stairs from the small "main" room. No rail. There were no outlets up there. There was an extension cord going across the stairs though. Glad I never had to get up in the middle of the night to trip and die on it. I hope they never put any older folks in this room.
There was one outlet downstairs if you unplug the crappy TV and/or lamp. There was no refrigerator or other amenities. As much as I paid, I expected at least a fridge. The sofa looked like it was a thrift store special with a throw over it to hide its old style and how dingy it was. There wasn't even a closet, just another thrift store special cabinet.

I will never stay at City Inn Hotel Leipzig and will warn others as well.

We spent there two nights. The room was not so clean: the beds had fresh and nice-smelling sheets but on the floor of the bathroom there were hairs that were definitely not ours, dust and spiderwebs in the corners. The breakfast is not included in the price and you have to pay if you want to use the parking space of the hotel. There is no free Wi-Fi either. The staff is nice.
