  Perfect for easy access to Munich Marienplatz. More a parking lot than a campground. Toilets a little dirty. Everything costs extra. It is what the web site says it is. American family touring Europe. Staff was friendly.

  Considering it's Oktoberfest time, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, although there are no toilet seats for some reason or toilet roll, but still clean. Just a short bus and tube ride away from Oktoberfest.

  Huge camping area mainly for travellers. There are 4 or 5 companies who set up tents as well as the option for solo campers. Plenty of space for cars and campervans. The tents are no good when it's cold and rainy however.

  Horrible Camp site. The worst I have come across so far. The man at the reception with long hair had the adocoty to tell me to deposit my passport till I stay in the camp. Never heard of such ridiculous things. But when I refused to deposits the passport he agreed. Then why the help did he ask me in the first place???
  Funny system of putting special coins for shower and warm water. He didn't even tell me at the reception that they have this stupid system. I undressed for shower and then realised this. Had to change then go buy the coins.
  Not at all worth the huge price they charge. JUST AVOID IF POSSIBLE. Only good thing is the location.

  Excellent location, shame about the wash blocks. Perfectly situated for visiting Munich, easy cycle routes and public transport on the doorstep. Wash blocks are less than desirable with several closed. They like to cram people in too so don't expect any space on your pitch.

  Nice location by the river, well connected to the center.
  Expensive, you have to pay for the hot water for shower and wash dishes.
  After the day spent visiting the city you have to pay for the shower.
  Toilette are not so clean.
  You have to pay also for the Wi-Fi.

  I am very glad to see that you've created a webpage for Thalkirchen campinplatz. We've been to your camping site many a times and we've also been there in June 2015 with the new management.
  
  It is always a pleasure to visit you guys because it is my most favorite place to visit in the world. So thank you again for an amazing time me and my wife had at your camping-site. Everything is so clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly especially uncle Jerry at reception.

  Beautiful location but filthy and smelly. OK for young people who are out to see Oktoberfest but absolutely no good for families. No wifI. Sound of people throwing up during the night is memorable! Basic shop..filthy cafe. Ridiculously expensive for the state of the place.

  Nice location by the river and cycling distance to München. Friendly staff. Expensive compared to quality of the facilities. Pay extra for hot shower and hot water for dishes. Fast wifi but only near reception. €1 for 1 hour.
