This is a well maintained and great place to hang out and camp. They have a nice new club house with great showers and it is close to great hiking locations. The are is beautiful here for sure!

Very clean, very modern facilities, amazing views and lovely owners. You can get bread in the morning of you sign up for it the day before, there is also a common room with a sink and a two pot stove top.

Great place! The view is amazing. The new showers and toilets are very luxurious, everything is present. Nice walking routes in this area.

Staff were abit mental, really helpful and friendly, then ask about the wifi Not a good question to ask for some reason. And the wifi is 5€ a pop, not acceptable in my mind when you're already paying 30€ to sleep in a field. Laundry facilities were good. Showroom good. Toilets were ok unless you were trying to use them when the cleaner was knocking about Again, totally mental.

We had such a nice time at Simonhof. The hostess was very kind and helpful. The other camping guests were very friendly as well. We stayed on the tent field, where we had an amazing view over snowy mountaintops. It's possible to order fresh rolls for breakfast. The sanitary is also great. Everything is very clean and luxurious!

I would recommend to visit Köningssee and go all the way up with the Jennerbahn, and then walk down the several pathways for amazing views and cute restaurants where you can get fresh milk. Best part of staying in Berchtesgadenland are the cows with the bells around their necks. They are adorable and walk freely around the country roads (near Simonhof as well!), so you can come very close :)
