The employees are technically very competent and also very friendly. Only the porter with her cheeky loud mouth should first go to the dentist before she opens her mouth. Bad figurehead for the Federal Archives!

A spacious entrance area and a porter who doesn’t greet you back.
The smell of lunch in the canteen penetrated the entrance hall.
Already down here you could find out what to expect on the first floor.
The worth seeing, free exhibition. At the moment it deals with the Weimar Republic.

Very nice and helpful staff. Air-conditioned reading room - priceless in this heat (~ 35 °). Also very good: You can take pictures of the archive material.
