The restaurant is very good. Great food that is well priced and friendly service. There is a large bier garten, great for sunny days and several hike and bike trails that begin here. Plenty of parking as well.

Wonderful beer garden. Very good food. Service is excellent - fairly quick even when place is very busy on weekends. Live music groups Thursday evenings during summer.

One of the worst service experiences ever!!!
Nice location, but that is basically all they have to offer. 1 star!
Other than that: very long waiting times, especially in the summer, seriously unfriendly waitresses and very unprofessional behavior. MINUS 4 stars.

We went to the Bremer Hof probably about 5 times, because they do have a great location. The service never was great, but after these two last experiences, we will never go to that place again!!!

1. In a summer afternoon some colleagues and me went to the Bremer Hof just to enjoy one or two beers. Usually it is four chairs for one table. We were seven people, but for a beer we didn’t need a second table. So we grabbed some chairs from another table to sit together. After some time while enjoying our first round of beer the waitress asked us to bring back the chairs to the empty table. "There are people who want that table." That is our table, but we just needed the chairs! Seriously not believing what actually happens she grabbed our chairs and left three of us standing. IS THAT HOW YOU ARE TREATING GUESTS?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?
2. Another time we went there to eat with some friends. One of them was lactose intolerant. He asked if they could leave the cheese and other milk product out of his food. The answer was that the machine doesn’t offer that option. They have to go the kitchen (about 15 steps) to talk to the chef, but they don’t want to. “Just order a salad” was their answer. So he did. After serving him NOT ONE BUT TWO flies UNDER the salad leaves, we complained about the service and the food. They neglected us saying “This is a beer garden. WE HAVE FLIES!”

Sorry! We can endure a lot. I still see a lot of potential in this place under a different very different owner, but to be treated like rubbish, we did pay to much for that!

Cozy restaurant and hotel in the woods. Apart from classic rural german dishes you also get seasonal specials. We have always been happy with the food there!
