Really nice courtyard seating and the food was delicious. My family had schnitzl, the giant bratwurst, and chicken nuggets/fries for the kids. Probably some of the better schnitzel I've had on this trip. Only wish they had a smaller brat portion for my 3yo.

Delicious German food and locally brewed beer on site. Would definitely visit this place if you're visiting Wittenberg.

Comfortable outside seating. The food is worth the money as the portions are very generous. The beer on tap is brewed on site and is great.

Nice traditional restaurant with big courtyard and original German food and home brewed beers. You can also visit the brewery in a guided tour.

It's a good way to know how beer is brewed told directly from a brewer. It's a small factory and the visit is worthwhile. The building is very nice and the surroundings deserve a visit.

We ate here three times, we liked the food so well. The pork liver was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fresh-baked pretzel (served with salad; it makes a perfect lunch) was warm and just the right amount of chewy. The house beers are perfect accompaniments. One of our party is vegetarian and he found suitable menu options (not always easy in these parts).
As is often the case in this part of Germany, few of the waitstaff speak English, and fewer speak it well. However, an English menu is available; pointing at menu items works fine, and we found all the staff, English speaking or not, to be welcoming.response / report this review -
