Very unfriendly staff downstairs, but very friendly upstairs. I first pointed to a pretzel I wanted, and they used a fork to put it on a plate behind the desk while taking my companies orders. As they did, I changed my mind and wanted the same as my friend. "It's too late to change your mind" they said. I used logic pointing out I hadn't even got close to it since it still was behind their desk, but they still refused. First when I got tough stating to just leave without buying anything, did they agree. Very odd behaviour.

The lady upstairs was the very opposite of the two downstairs. The cakes were also fair. So it could have been a four stars instead, that shows the importance of the correct staff.

Very rude staff. We were clearly inconveniencing them by trying to patron their store. They insisted on splitting our order of ice cream and coffee for an unexplained reason. Then no credit card on the main square of a tourist town brimming with foreigners and most surrounding shops accepting credit card.

Then they charged extra for the coffee so we could sit down, but we couldn't sit down because not all of us bought coffee, some only had ice cream. First they understood English fine, but when we tried to understand this weird sitting extra charge scam they started playing dumb. When we switched to German they also played dumb. Their snacks and ice cream are wonderful, but the customer service can only be described as rude.
