PS. Hoffentlich liest das auch ihr Vorgesetzter ;)

Leider wollte man mir hier wohl kein Fahrzeug verkaufen.

Never ever werde ich diesen Laden betreten!

The mechanics here are absolutely horrible! I have been bringing my car to this dealership for nearly two years, and their "service" grew progressively worse, until it was absolutely unbearable. One time, I had a part that needed to be ordered for my American spec. car, and it took six weeks for them to finally call me back and inform me that the part had arrived.

Another time, I took the car in to have the American rear license plate bracket removed (per inspection regulations), and the mechanic instead removed the fully-functional and properly mounted European plate holder from the front, deciding that bolting the plate directly to my bumper, drilling four brand new holes into the bumper at the very outside edges of the European plate, was clearly the logical thing to do.

My Service Adviser then claimed they'd fix it right away, took my car back into the bay where they remounted the European plate holder using the NEW holes they'd made, and then brought the car back out to me, attempting to pass it off as being fixed.

I next tried two times to have the bumper repaired, being told each time by my Service Adviser that, "we'll do that later." Two times I tried scheduling an appointment with them using their online scheduler, and two times, they failed to schedule the appointment. The second time, I brought the car in anyway, thinking perhaps they'd just forgotten to e-mail me confirmation, and they claimed they would do the oil change and fix an oil leak anyway since I was there. But when I came to pick up the car, I discovered that they'd done nothing at all, deciding instead to wait until the following week when they'd forced me to reschedule the bumper repair, despite their original promise.

When I brought the car back to fix the bumper, I picked the car up to discover that they'd not only repaired the holes that they themselves had created, but also the original holes that the American plate is mounted on, and had placed my license plate on my dashboard--because apparently THAT made perfect sense to them as well! Meanwhile, my Service Adviser had conveniently gone home for the day, clearly avoiding any responsibility in the matter (and not having mentioned a thing about it when he spoke with me on the phone to tell me the car was ready to be picked up).

They had to order the American bracket (since they'd previously thrown away the original without asking me), and apparently, all of this incredible incompetence and extreme inconvenience to me was not worth ordering the part for overnight delivery, and it was another three weeks before the part came in, at which point I picked the part up, and took it to Autohaus Marnet--a dealership that has mechanics who actually care about their customers and who know what they're doing. Autohaus Marnet properly used the bracket as a template to re-drill the original license plate bracket holes, and properly reattached the license plate using the European holder--something that was well beyond Audi Zentrum's ability level.

The only good thing I can say about Audi Zentrum is that the front desk personnel were always very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the Service Adviser I dealt with and the mechanics were incompetent, lazy, and very, very shady, and I will never again go to any Audi Zentrum branch anywhere, ESPECIALLY not the one in Mainz.
