After reading some other reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but parking was not a problem. Checkin went easily. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is pretty awesome.

We spent two days walking around Bamberg after leaving our car in the hotel parking area and though we logged over 23 km during those two days I'd still say anything you want to see is within walking distance.

The hotel makes a good first impression.
But. the bathroom is tiny. The shower is under a slanted roof which makes standing in it difficult.
Then there's the shower head. forget it.
The room is very dull and boring.
Sound proofing sucks, tried to sleep but the room next to mind had the TV on was like having mine on.
For the price not very good value to be honest.

Nice quiet place near the city center; be prepared for exercise walking around town. Close to the sites and tourist areas. Parking is available for a fee.

I used to live near here a few years back and found this place now whilst on vacation. Love the hotel, it's about a 5 to 10 minute walk from a nice shopping district and there are a bunch of things to sight-see as well. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was bigger than expected and very clean to boot. I will definitely be keeping this hotel in mind for my next visit.
