  Awesome joint. Food was really good, service is quick even though they are swamped on a Saturday night. Make plans to little early of stand for awhile waiting for a table, not that log though. They don’t serve beer here, only house made cider and few more liqueurs. The Apple strudel is A MUST HAVE. The best I had in all of Europe. The place is packed and expect to be seated with other people at the same table. Great for meeting people and taking to locals.

  Fantastic traditional atmosphere at this great eatery in Frankfurt. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which the majority is shared. This let's you eat and meet others, making the experience a social one. It's loud inside, so don't expect to have quiet, intimate conversations. The food is delicious, the waitstaff friendly and fast. It can get very busy here, so be prepared to wait. I highly recommend the Apple Wine! Delicious!

  Nice atmosphere and funny staff. Fast and decent service. Very decent prices for typical Frankfurter food. Very crowdy! Don't go if you're vegetarian.

  Fun place to eat, we had a great waiter. The Apple cider was a nice surprise. The first glass takes getting used to, after that it goes down nicely. Moderate prices. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the goulash.

  The food was ok, nothing special I've had far better in Frankfurt and they don't sell beer! The staff was just plain nasty. My friend and I were extremely polite, but no matter how nice we were, we got snapped at, dirty looks, eye rolls etc for asking for the smallest of things , such as the check. We were encouraged to go here because of staff at the hotel. Desk clerk told us to try the dessert. We really wanted to, but were afraid we'd get our heads bitten off if we dared to ask. When pulling my credit card out of my wallet, it stuck for just a second because it's a brand new wallet and I got yelled at to "hurry up!". Not a pleasant dining experience at all. Not going back. Will tell the front desk they might not want to recommend it anymore if they haven't been in a while.

  Not the best
  Food is ok, no specific flavor. Our beef was just simply boiled with no spices but salt. The famous green sauce was just simply sour cream with some green herbs that did not have strong flavor and it did not help with the menu at all . Every thing was bland. The service not so great as well. Shortly I was not impressed at all. To my opinion street food offers much more for less. I believe there are other places that offer better service and food for the same rate.

  I was on a layover in Frankfurt and looking for a good, traditional Frankfurt Pub. This was recommended on so many articles and blogs. It was an excellent choice! It was a cold, blustery day when we arrived, and it was a treat to huddle inside and try the famous green sauce and apple wine. We tried a few other small plates recommended by other customers (it was communal seating). The server was a bit deadpan, but a neighbor at our table let us know that he was cracking jokes. Too bad we couldn't understand!

  Unique Frankfurt experience! Incredible food in what looks like a beer hall but instead of beer the drink specialty is apple wine. It is a dry style of apple cider popular in the Frankfurt region.
  
  Perfect outing for large groups. Too noisy for a romantic dinner.

  Very good place. Food is tasty and people(staffs and costumers) are kind here. We went here twice even if we only stayed two days in Frankfurt. And People sit in the same table, so it's a good chance to chat with others. We met lots new friends here~~~^^ I love here~~
