  ABC Travel is the best travel agency in the Kaiserslautern area. They all speak English and are extremely helpful. If you need to book a flight give them a call.

  I am EXTREMELY sorry I ever did business with ABC Travel in Ramstein-Miesenbach. I wish I could've rated this company a 1/2-star for the lack of effort they made booking me and all of the time I spent trying to get my money refunded from the cancelled flights.
  
  After my Thanksgiving flights were canceled by Lufthansa because of the strike, ABC Travel is keeping €55 of my refund for their "fees." While this is down from the €210 they originally wanted to keep for the "ticket issue fees" and "working fees" that was in the fine print of the three page German language terms and conditions, it's still unacceptable. If I'm not mistaken, Lufthansa pays travel agencies to sell their tickets for them so ABC Travel is getting paid by LH and me.
  
  I didn't cancel my flights -- Lufthansa did - so why am I paying any fees? Service from the travel agent was minimal - she couldn't even suggest tours or sights in Budapest, telling me instead to check with the hotel concierge. She also didn't provide any hotel recommendations.
  
  Because of time constraints, I went to ABC Travel on the recommendation of a colleague instead of searching for flights myself that met our needs and schedule. Never again. I should have known better as a 2 million-miler on American.
  
  While my situation may be unique, I offer this advice to anyone considering doing business with ABC Travel in Ramstein-Miesenbach - BUYER BEWARE!
