Very average, though good airport. It’s quite, small and easy to find everything. Staff was very polite.
Terminal two is clean and both times it was not crowded. In this terminal the security is centralized, relatively painless. Shopping is a bit limited, but enough to buy last minute souvenirs. The lounges are sparse and food is marginal (nothing vegetarian). Staff are helpful, even to non-native speakers. :)
I had a great time during my layovers here. The staff and merchants were friendly. My friends and I had no issues. Great atmosphere for an airport. It was appreciated.
Clean and easy to navigate. Terminal 1, though, has a big flaw, as the security control is at the gates, so you can't really plan your time. The two stars rating is because when it's raining, your suitcase arrives soaking wet. How difficult is it to protect people's luggage from the rain so they can have dry clothes to wear at their destination?
Clean enough airport and toilets, but the utter stupidity of having the security checks at every gate cannot be overstated. It means you can't plan your time at all. Since many flights do not get assigned gates until late, you have no idea what security line to stand in, or when. And once you get through security - there is no toilet and no shopping other than crappy vending machines in the best case.
And you can't bring liquids with you that you bought in duty free. Ridiculous.
If you plan to arrive early, be prepared to stress until the last moment since you'll have to go through security just before the flight rather than first go through and then relax in the secure area until you know what gate to go to.
And imagine how inefficient to have all this equipment at every gate? And the staff! Someone ripped this airport off big time.
All food places close at 22 and i just saw a woman escorted to the toilet from a gate by a security guard - ridiculous!
Truly an airport i hope to never return to.
Nice airport, and runs efficiently. Plenty of seating, some with power sockets to charge your phones and laptops. I was in the non-Schengen terminal so my experience might have been different than others, but found the food options (especially for vegetarians) a bit on the lower side. Nevertheless, the shops have good beer, snacks, and food! Use a combination of bus and metro to get to the centre of the city - public transport in Prague is excellent.
Its good then rest of the prauge in terms of lack of crimes. Distance from city centre is covered by cheap express bus. Wide and spacious.
Pretty poor airport if I'm honest. Hardly any options to eat, seemed to be a canteen which we went to but didn't seem to be serving any food at the time.
Duty free prices are hilarious. 18€ for a bar of nestle!! If you're spending time here, you're gonna need a lot of money.
Wifi is good however.
I never felt so peaceful in an airport before. It is not crowded, so there is no stress. Everything is close enough. It is a small airport. The check-in and check out is fast. Passport control is quick. Daparture and Arrival hall are right next to each other. The restrooms are clean and spacious. There is public transportation available, so it is easy to go wherever you need to.
I have been in this airport just quickly twice. I did not spend so much time inside. But I had no problems with anything. If you need to rent a car you have to walk a little bit to get to the office of the car rental. There are many agencies with similar prices available for you.
