Worth a quick stop in to see the tower of books.

This seems like a nice library to read/study in as a local, but as a tourist I only came here for the famous tower of books in the lobby. Matej Krén’s “Idiom” installation used 8,000 books from the library’s collection to create the optical illusion. Photos do not truly do it justice. Sticking your head inside and looking up and down forever is just one of those “wow” moments that jaded tourists like me rarely have. This library is very close to the main attractions too, so it’s not out of your way to pop in for 5 minutes!

The tunnel of books is really creative and interesting. But, FYI: The old version 15th century bible mentioned in the description from Wikipedia is not actually there.

Cool stack of books with a mirror that makes it look like it never ends. I came here to use the bathroom while waiting for a tour at klementinum. Glad we stopped by, thought the book thing was really nice.

Good place if you want to take a rest and check some books, there's also a reasonably priced cafe at the entrance.
