Very good service. Good room for the price. In the middle of the city. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Quiet, older style hotel on the outskirts of city center. A few lamps were out and the mini fridge did not work in my room, the bathroom could use a remodel, but everything was very clean and the bed comfortable.

I want to start with this hotel in bullet points. I have booked a triple room or 2 nights. In one word "terrible and disgusting". It was as much luxury as a bald man has a family name of hair.
1. The room was not triple and it was a two plus room with very small and think mattrace whicb I hardly could fit in it. When I complained they said it is how a triple room looks like !! I show them how a triple room is and they said we do not have such a room (but they rent the room as triple)
2. The hotel is not looking like a 4 star hotel and it looks to mkre like a
2 star one. Everything is small and old and dirty!
3. The blankets were dirty and when I complained they said that they will change it. After I returned at 11 p.m. I saw that they did not change it and also the towels which I marked them and left them on the ground are hanged as washed ones!!! I called tge reception and waited 30 min till they bring new ones.
4. They toilets were dirty with old materials and water was coming out to the ground when we were using the flush.
5. There was only one electricity plug in the room so we had to charge our phones one after each other. Thanks to fast charging technology of our phones we could have our phones switched on!
6. Internet was not working all the time !! I did not use it at all and finish all my mobile data simply since the wifi was not working. I talked to reception and they said since people are using it, it is not working for you!! I was so surprised with their logics!
7. Very bad breakfast with old materials. The fruits were old and disgusting. There were only 2 persons working tgere ans there was not enough plates. They were washing them and putting them back again completely wet with a lot of water inside the plate.
Summary: they are fraud and I am not sure how they could get 4 stars. The service and cleanness was terrible. Everything is dirty and old and they do not change cober of blankets and towels !! It was the most terrible stay of my life in a hotel so far.response / report this review -

Everything we needed on holiday. Lovely staff, decent breakfast and a nice room. Can't say fairer than that!

Great location and that's about it. Definitely not luxury and by no means is it four stars. My friends room had ticks in the bed which bit him two nights in row. Had to ask to be moved to another room. General manager was rude and unprofessional about the whole incident. The website does not reflect the true facilities at the hotel, either. Avoid at all costs.

One of reason why I booked it because they offer wifi service. However, noticed no wifi signal available at first night and mentioned to reception. They said they will investigate and let me know . Nothing until next day lunch time. Host keeper was cleaning my next door when I came out my room and I noticed that next door has wifi signal . So went back to reception and requested to swap the room . Again, they said they will investigate and keep me updated . Went back to them again after dinner, receptionist was very rude and unhelpful and said technician will come tmr when I already waited 2days ( only there 3 days) .She suggested that I should come down to the lounge to use wifi and mentioned wifi is not free in Germany . I should complain if I am happy with it . Most ridiculous experience ever .

Good breakfast selection and comfortable beds. There was a plug socket that was p hanging out of the wall, an unfamiliar curly hair in the bathroom and no iron or ironing board - apparently I may burn myself. The ironing of a t shirt cost £2.30!

Horrendous! I arrived with my sister (we are 24 and 21) for a birthday weekend after travelling for 10 hours. On arrival I questioned the man at the desk why he needed my card details as I had already paid. He said they wouldn't be used. In less than two minutes he handed me a receipt saying he'd taken €50 from my account. When I questioned why he told me to "talk to my travel agent" obviously we were very surprised and confused, he didn't explain why despite being asked numerous time. Two hours later we returned and asked other guests if they had been charged and they hadn't. We asked a different women at reception and she told us to "calm down" and that she "didn't know what she was doing". A while later she told us we had been charged €50 because we are "young". I asked to speak with the general manager but unfortunately he was not in. The whole situation was dealt with extremely unprofessioanly with a severe lack of customer service. Having to pay more for being young is age discrimination and I will be writing a formal complaint to the hotel manager and British airways. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and if you do stay under no circumstance give them any personal information!

Really good location, quiet and safe. Near the old town and good short walk to the shops sights and a cpl of local bars and restaurants. Rooms are basic as is the restaurant for breakfast. Nothing fancy, slightly dated could do with a few more extra aesthetics to take it up to 4 stars and keep cleanliness standards higher.
