Certainly one of the better sushi places in the Czech Republic. The atmosphere is maybe a bit too formal for me. Not all the fish fillets were "mouth blowing" - but some were. Good place to pay multiple visits to. Likely one of the better restaurants in Brno.

Fantastic fish. Their sushi chef is outstanding and the best in Brno. Their little side shop has lots of asian goodies that are not normally otherwise available in Brno.

The sushi it's absolutely amazing and they really care about presentation and costumer service! I had the best miso soup ever. Prices can be a shock in Brno but it's worth it.

Sushi in Czech Republic is a mystery to me. In Japan, sushi is considered an low cost fast food. Here, we have luxurious restaurants dedicated to prepare first rate sushi.
Koishi is one of them. Maybe even the best. So do not be suprised by the price range. It is a great place for a date or a business meeting though.response / report this review -

The fish on top of nigiri was semi-dry, as if they put it out for a couple hours, so it loses its natural moisture. Those were not enjoyable at all, although the rolls were not bad. But definitely the experience was not worth the check we paid. If you love sushi, avoid the place -- otherwise you're going to be disappointed.
