Room and food was really good. Service wasn't the best but it wasn't awful. Views were spectacular and the parking was definitely an afterthought. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Dog friendly rooms and lots of walks around the sandstone features.

The castle itself is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. Fascinating views, great place to stay if you enjoy hiking. But the interior part leaves much to be desired. Rooms really need renovation.
The staff are somehow remote, they can't say anything about the walking trails or places of interest in the nieghbourhood, nor have they got any maps or plans.

There is a hotel and a hostel. We stayed at the hotel. Our room and the wing we were in was newly renovated. Our room had new everything. The bathroom was first class. In fact the entire place was first class. We were very happy to be there. We stayed three nights.

I was not impressed by this hotel. The surrounding area is beautiful and it is a great place for day hikes. The castle also some very nice areas (e.g. the dining hall). However, it seemed like the entire place was in a state of neglect. When I arrived at my room, I soon realized the sheets had not been changed since the last person was in the room. There were also cobwebs on the ceiling, and chipped paint, cobwebs, and mold in the bathroom. The furniture was also old and stained, there was no internet, and the TV was very small and only had three channels. They do have wifi available, but it only works near the lobby and in the parking lot (so you basically have to sit in one of those two areas if you want a wireless connection). To top it all off, I got food poisoning one of the last days at either lunch or dinner. Altogether, it is a great place to visit for a day, but I would not reccommend staying the night.
