Very nice located campersite. You can see the river moldau right in front of your campers window. Nice pricing and good connection to city center
camped there during Prague stay. tent area is fairly small but nice. owners are very helpful. the wifi is pretty slow. good connection to the public transport system (ask at the reception for directions). kitchen very basic. showers are always on hot (no temperature setting) but you get used to it. toilets are very clean. the location is beautiful. all in all, I highly recommend this place for campers.. Don't know about the apartments
Prices really good for a capital. Getting downtown very easy with public transport. Toilets are new and renovated. All in all a pretty good camping ground.
Decent place. Nice views. Not thrilled about bathrooms
Good place, with an old school but nice retaurant with a river view open till late. Joint showers are a bit too old school for me, it would be much better if they had cabins. 15 minutes by bike to the Prague center.
Great location, cheap at €24 per night (two people and a camper) with power, wifi.
Showers are open (no door etc)
Awesome location, fairly priced, close to public transport and downtown Prague.
Amazing value for money.
Pro's:
-great prices
-Tourist information available in a lot of languages
-Free Wi-Fi
-clean toilets and showers
-restaurant with decent food and great prices
-friendly staff
-close to the city by ferry
Neutral:
- not very luxurious (which is to be expected considering the prices)
Cons:
- shower room without stalls
- Wi-Fi signal not great everywhere (works fine near the reception where there are chairs and tables)
Old but nice camp site, not to far away from the center of Prague. The service buildings were old, but reasonable well kept, and the price very reasonable.
summer 2013
Plus:
quick internet connection,
warm showers with enough water,
good connection to public transportation
all year open
enough electric power connection and CEE sockets
3 caravan places have a nice view over the river and the town
minus:
summer toilets are not in a good shape
one winter toilet in the shower area without a window
after sunset you walk 500 m in total darkness to the campground
twice the price than the other campground on the island
minus minus
there are two big dogs wakling uncontrolled on the campground. So watch your steps otherwise you step in the dogshit.
Not a bad campground in terms of facilities. Their shop down the way had a few good things to offer. Their showers were clean, but small. Their restroom was a large port-o-pottie, known as a toi-toi! very spacious.
Location was key. You are on an island. That was super cool.
