Friendly staff. Really fun, affordable place to take kids.

Quite a nice place, only played pool there so can't really say much about bowling alleys. There's three pool tables that are a bit too close together. So if the place is crowded, it might become harder to play pool, as there might not be enough space for you to move around and hit that perfect shot.
Also, as other reviewers have stated, the place is nearby the university which means that it will mostly be populated by students.
The staff were nice enough, so I wasn't not satisfied with the service.
Overall, a good place to play some pool or bowling and get some beers.response / report this review -

OK beer, friendly, if somewhat slow staff. Limited selection of food. Open quite late. Mostly surrounded by university buildings, so it seems to stay open late and no one complains about the noise.

I went bowling here once for a school event. It was entertaining and the place had a real folksy vibe, but I found that a bit spooky to be honest. It also smelt like smoke, but other than that I would say it's a standard bowling hall with everything you need.
