The best vacation I have ever had. We arrived here a day earlier just as the worst snow in over 30 years hit Ireland. Allana gave us a self-catering lodge to stay in until we could claim our stay in the castle the next day. Unfortunately the snow got worse and the castle had to close and send the staff home but we were allowed to stay in the lodge for the two nights we had booked in the castle. We were given a personal tour of the entire castle by Allana who is an absolute gem.
The self catering lodges are so cozy and warm. The mattresses are the most comfortable I've ever slept on, the rooms are furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Toilets and bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The gas fire in the living room kept us warm and our clothes dry. Satellite TV and 42" screen, comfortable sofas. The kitchens are well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment, complete with microwave oven, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
I just wish we had a house as lovely as this.
Oh and they have a balcony in the front and bedrooms where we caught some of the many wildlife that are present on the island, just beautiful.
Thanks a million to all the staff at Waterford Castle for making our stay a most enjoyable and memorable experience, and thanks to Henry and the lads for keeping the ferry running through the worst of it.
I wish we could have done some clay pigeon shooting and falconry as a result of the bad weather but we will definitely be back soon : )response / report this review -

Waterpark was great. Attractions are not open the whole time, you have to consider the time table. Very convenient and cheap to get there by bus (line 101 and 102)

We were there with 5 people familly. Kids in the age of 8 and 10 they could use so many different slides what i did not expacted. We were there in the begining of May so not too hot no waiting in the entrance and on slides. Perfect place to spent active day. We enjoyed so much that we spent there full 8 hours. Highly recommended place for families. With kids above 120cm and teenagers. The most extreme places for adults.

I was there with my 8 year old son who is a good swimmer, and he could ride everything although I never let him try the most severe ones. Some calmer playareas for the smaller kids as well. Very alert personal which made me feel safe to let my kid go on the rides with me.
Entrance a bit pricy for adults, but food inside was not that pricy at all.

Visited on September 2017 had a wonderful experience. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Locker systems have easy access and security is ok.On the negative side is that it is a bit pricey if you are a large family. We got some tickets from our hotel, as it was a bit cheaper. Will visit again

Went mid September 2017 had an amazing experience the Marshalls are really helpful and friendly. Food here is average but you aren't going for that. Locker system was brilliant easy to locate/use made me feel at ease. The only slight negative but wouldn't ruin the score was the cost, it's quite pricey to go. We managed to get some tickets from our hotel rep which made it a little cheaper/easier. Would go again!

Brilliant water park. They have something for all ages, whether you're a thrill seeker or just want to relax in the lazy river. I imagine it gets incredibly busy during the hottest months but we visited late in October and hardly had to queue for any of the slides. The food options have some variety too, so you're unlikely to go hungry during the day. Not included in the entrance price is the locker charge, which was €7.50 with a €2 returnable deposit so €5.50 for the day. (The lockers are quite small so be prepared to pay for a few if you visit as a group).

In spite of its size, it is not more than "nice". It's quite old, the slides are usually slow and expected. More suitable for children. If you are an adult that know good water parks - you can skip this one.

I liked this place but didn't love it. The slides are good and fun.There are definitely not enough sun beds,, to get one come her early!,, we saw people lying on mats on the ground. The lazy river and wave pool was the best part. The food places provided are bad and in poor condition. We queued for half and hour at the pizza place but when we got at the front, then telling us they had run out of pizza and salad!! Afterwards we tried the burger place, queued for 10 minutes but then waited for another 10 minutes for them to cook our food! Very slow service. In the end it cost €40 for four people! Food was not good as Well! Lockers are €7:50!

great day out with the kids, there is a lack of sun beds, but they can give you mats to lay on the grassy area's. some of the slider limit you to the number of people on the slide, for example you need 2 people to go down one both need to be above 140cm. a little hard if you have children!!

Positives: The waterpark itself is great! €38 for the day but well worth it.
There are water fountains available.
Toilets are very clean.
Negatives: The lockers cost €7.50 once you're in (you get €2 back as a deposit) which I think is a rip off.
The staff get very stressed out and sometimes rude in the last 45 minutes before the park closes.response / report this review -

Even here many times and will come back again and again. The entrance fee is a bit expensive but the fun and the good food/beverage prices make up for it. Lovely place to have fun the whole day with your family. Recommend it for everyone!!!

- Long waiting queue due to limited number of inflatable rings/tubes; some slides had as little as 4 rings only.
- You cannot wear any sort of eye-wear including goggles, so if you have eye issues and need to wear something, don't go to this park
- If you are planning to film your fun with an action camera, avoid this park also, you cannot wear the camera on your forehead, you can only grab it by your hand, which is not practical in slides.
- Theme of the park is nice, and there are multiple sports for good shots of yourself.response / report this review -

Overpriced.
Although well laid out I feel that the price to enter the park is too much.
You are not allowed to take in your own food or drink, and are expected, I expect, to buy their refreshment which again are overpriced.
The lockers are opened by electronic key
You have to pay 7.50euro a d get a whole 2 Euro back when you return it.
As with most theme parks you have to queue, but it's seems like an exceptionally slow process.

This is a great Water Park for any person to come to, whether you are 5 or 55 years old. You will have a great time, there's a lot of slides that you can go on and a lot staff on petrol for help. The lockers are quiet expensive though like 7.50 euros, but you 2 euros back. Make sure you bring enough water bottles with you, but the water bottle prices where 1 euro for one. All in all a great attraction to go and spend most of your day at. Plus, The price for an adult was 38 euros.

Nice theme park. The creator had good taste and it feels very nice as a whole. The lockers are overpriced and small. But don't worry about the size - there are a lot of sunbeds all over the park. You need locker for your valuables only. Food is cheap and ok. We were there in June and had no queues.

Quite expensive , you have to pay for lockers 7.50 euro also entry fee is like 40 euro per person for this price you get mats covered in mould which were not replaced since they opened this aqua park. For this price you would expect everything on high level of quality, food expensive too and you're not allowed to bring any food which you. They call themselves no. 1 in Europe been in many different ones with higher standard for much lees price with free lockers and no mould and old equipment.not recommended unless if you have to much cash to spend ans you dont care

It is a beautiful water park..it has a special offer 50% off for the second visit. The public bus stops there.. It has was w few restaurants and ice cream stores..it is a very nice place for kids

One of the best water park I have ever been to, both in Cyprus and abroad. It has an Ancient Greek theme , making it this way something different and unusual. The best way to spend a day with friends, having great fun and enjoying Cyprus sun in combination with getting the chance to provide fun for and cool tou down from the heat of Cyprus summer :)

Brilliant place to be, very well lifeguarded. Bit pricey but my kids did not say they were bored at all all day, which is very unusual. So on that, worth the euros! Someone told me that u get discount vouchers in the local papers. didn't have time for searching thru papers. Think it were 5 euros off kids & 10 off adults?!?!? Don't know how true this is!

Excellent water park. We went in April so it was very quiet. No queues for any of the rides. However they only opened certain rides for separate parts of the day. Although they all opened for at least a few hours of the day. Also some of the food areas were not opened at all. However the main restaurant was fine for a snack and drinks.
As for the rides there are some really good ones with the Chariot Race being a particular favourite of mine. You actually take off on the bottom couple of humps. Other mentions go to Icarus, the 2 Zeus kamikaze rides and Titan.
There are also some good areas for younger children.
Oh yes nearly the forgot the staff were excellent, very helpful and always smiling to.
