I had the privilege of attending the AAN from kindergarten all the way to high-school. An amazing school that not only has a high level of education, but also establishes a strong foundation of ethics enabling you to face the adult world. The school also shows a great concern towards each individual making them feel like a part of a family. Highly recommend it!

Excellent institution, with dedicated administration and faculty, engaged parents, and amazing student body. High level of academic excellence for students seeking an education in Cyprus, UK, and even the United States. I was a student at AAN until the 10th grade when I moved to the US. I was more advanced than any student in my class in both my English and Science courses thanks to the preparation and education i received at AAN. Lastly, besides the education AAN emphasizes community values and principles with individuals from all ethnic backgrounds.

Having graduated back in 2010, the memories and the environment that AAN has given me are some of my most cherished. I feel extremely grateful given the opportunity to be a student, everything felt right from my fellow classmates, the teachers, the environment, I know I couldn’t ask for a better school to graduate from. High quality education in a caring environmentalthough smaller in size compared with some other private schools in Nicosia, the school has nothing to be jealous of. The vast majority of the teachers are great, a combination of young enthusiastic teachers with new ideas plus a number of experience teachers who are there for several years.

I think that what makes the school special is their concern for each child individually. The have the pastorals who has set a number of mechanisms to monitor the progress of each child both in academic and social terms.

In addition the school gives a lot of emphasis in social sciences (art, music, dance, drama) and it has one of the highest scores in the international exams (if not the highest).

The American Academy Nicosia is a private English Language school located in the heart of Nicosia.
