I recently was admitted to the Mediterranean Hispital in Limassol after suffeting a heart attack on arrival in Pafos from the UK. Unfortunately i was unaware of what had happened to me and was ill in my room for 2 days before being found by friends who immediatelty contacted the wonderful Dr Andreas Demetriou from the Blue Cross Hospital. He acted swiftly and i was taken by ambulance to Limassol after a heart attack was diagnosed. I was under the care of the excellent Dr Majid Kalani and his wonderful team who performed 2 operations over a few days. His care, dedication and concern was outstanding and i will be forever grateful to him for savng my life. He looked out for me at all times and the ICU cared for me around the clock. I transferred back to the St George and Blue Cross hospital in Pafos for almost 4 weeks aftercare under Dr Demetriou and his dedicated team. I cannot thank everyone enough for the wonderful care and support I received whilst in Cyprus. It was oustanding and I shall forever indebted to everyone concerned with my wellbeing and aftercare. It exceeded expectations.

Would not recommend, I had surgery and they pulled out a screw after 6 weeks. I came back to Australia and was told that it should of stayed in for 3-4 months. I had to have another surgery in Australia to fix mediterreneans mistake and am now out for another 3 months.

Really Really bad.
I broken the leg on italy where the doctor decided to put only a cast.
after some days I moved to limassol because I needed to do a wedding.
I went on this Hospital for a check. the Doctor saw the x-ray done on italy and convinced me to do a surgery. he told me that like this I could walk the day after.
I did it, the day after the doctor did not come to do a visit, the nurse proposed me a leg brace that was 3 time bigger than cast and told me that I can not to walk for 2/3 weeks. when I told him that I decided to do a surgery only because I have a wedding in 1 week, he changedit with a fake brace. I m really shocked what can tell a person for money. if you can choose another hospital.

My travelling companion slipped at our hotel and broke her femur the medics took her to this hospital you cannot fault the care and hospitality at this hospital after two weeks there was no room at the hotel so the hospital kindly let me stay there til she is well enough to go home.

I am writing on behalf of my sister Christine Rudland who recently stayed for one week in Mediterranean Hospital, and had a triple bypass operation. The treatment was excellent from start to finish. Her surgeon Mr Sotiris Tsangaris is an extremely talented and knowledgeable Doctor who has a very good rapport with his patients. The nurses were all very polite and efficient, and the support staff did a great job of cleaning the rooms, and providing suitable food etc.
She would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in her care, and would happily recommend the Mediterranean Hospital to anyone needing medical care in Cyprus.
