I use to walk here almost every day when I was at Cyprus. It's nice there clean walking paths are good and green area also. Whoever is responsible to keep this park clean I can say just good job. Parking area left from main entrance is litle bit dirty cause some people take beer and food from near grocery shopp and eat or drink there. Area around presidental palace is also interesting and guards are relaxed not some grumpy guys like in other countries around Europe.
Early morning is best part of the day to go inside. Peace and enviroment perfect for meditation.
Also another good thing about this park is when you want to go in city centre you can go teough dry river bed using walking trail build by city of Nicosia. Kudos for that walking path.
Any way its place where I spent few months and I'll never forget it.

On of the best places in Nicosia for walking and biking. It's beautiful everywhere and in any weather condition. Great place to have photo sessions as well. We've done some atmospheric shots in medieval costumes there. There are no decent public conveniences there, and very few coffee shops mainly in the area of Lakatamia. Check Kafe Strata for quick coffee and snack or emergency loo :-). I rate nature with 5 stars. Sure place to go with your kids and place to enjoy lengthy walks with friends.

Хорошее место для прогулок с коляской, бега и просто длинных пеших прогулок, в общем, для всего, для чего нужны большие расстояния. Можно пройти от самых окраин до старого города. Это парк вдоль реки, но река давно пересохла, зато есть места, где ты идёшь по мосту. Единственный минус, большей частью он далеко от цивилизации, поэтому если вам внезапно захотелось выпить кофе или понадобился туалет, то может быть трудно.
