Very impressive. Built in the neolithic, listed on UNESCO and made with respect for both the tourists and the place. The real houses are well protected from being walked on, but you can admire reconstructed settlement from up close. It was very enjoyable for me.

Well, this is impressing when you can see the place where people lived 9000 years ago! In 1998 this site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Only two small problems, which usually happens in Cyprus: a) There are no signs on the way to that settlement; b) Its working hours are on working days, so no need to go on weekend. Funny, but it is! Anyhow, if you come here, you can see it clear through wibdbreak. :)

Quite interesting to walk around and look at the settlement. For better understanding they rebuilt some houses at the beginning of the trail.

This collection of excavated Neolithic hut circles is recognised as being of international importance and has UNESCO protected status.

A replica reconstruction brings the site to life.

The grounds are teeming with wildlife including some hornets in a cave at the top of the hill.

There are toilet facilities and water on site.

Opposite the large car park at the entrance is a cafe.

Entrance at the time of writing was €2.50. This includes a brief leaflet.

The site is not really suitable for wheel chair users as there is a steep stepped climb.However the reconstruction area could be reached fairly easily.

If you visit Cyprus this is a must. It s on the UN world heritage list and it s quite impressive. A lot of information in English and French.

Interesting site with scenic views. Not a huge amount of remains visible but there are few places where you can see 9000 year old ruins. Well worth a visit.

Lots to see and really good price at 4.50 euros each to get in. Lovely views as well over the coast. We spent around an hour here but didn't see everything as pushed for time. Worth a visit

A really ancient settlement of Cyprus inhabitants. The archeological site is really huge. I highly recommend to visit it.
Be aware that it is really hot and dry there so don't forget to take water with you.

The Neolithic Settlement offers the oldest remains in Europe since this era. Remnants occupy a fairly large area. They are located on several hills. They are right next to the road. It is considered fast.

Nice site with a nice little trail that even small kids can do. Too bad some of the archeological sections are covered - it makes it harder to visualize the built complex.

Prehistoric site with several restored buildings that are at the foot of a steep hill. Remains of other buildings are on the hill. A circular path that is not accessible to the disabled leads to the top of the hill and surrounds it. There is not much to be impressed with, however, the cost of entry is reasonable. Disabled entrance free.

It is worth a stop when driving nearby. The entrance is in the East side of the parking area. Toilets are free of charge. There is a bar opposite the parking area.

The site is beautiful but you don't actually see much. The excavations are very basic. The fun start when you start reading about the place and learn that it's 8000 years old. I recommend to give it 30 mins with some reading material.
