  Frumoasa manastire. Pacat ca monahul Epifanie nu vrea sa aiba alti monahi langa el. A reusit sa alunge monahii romani care erau inainte acolo. Vrea sa fie singur.
  Azi 8.8.2017 a fost hramul ctitorului dar nu se vedea nici o miscare la ora 10.

  Beautiful little church overshadowed by the nearby monastery. Built on top of an old Greek temple to Hera it is the oldest churchs on the island. The original church was built by St Nicholas and twice has been partially destroyed (originally the church took up the whole 'yard') which is now paved over. A quiet site with a very friendly, kind father who talked at length with us on the history of the island and the church. Look for the ancient keystones on either side of the church door, you will see the ancient language engraved there.
