For some reason, Google won't let me leave another review so I'll add to this one!

Well, we just completed our second stay at Villa Seashell and believe it or not, it was better this year! Part of it might have been that we knew our way around town and such but, Linda Lou's house called Villa Seashell should be called Villa Perfecto!

We had our bests vacation yet! The view from her house is stunning, I love all the handmade art she displays and the house was well stocked and cared for.

I know I sound like a broken record but, we'll be back!! Thanks so very much Linda!!

WOW! The folks that own this BEAUTIFUL home are great, the view is unbelievable, the house is stunning, it's clean as a whistle and we had a blast!

I didn't know a thing about Curacao and when I found Villa Seashell's website I didn't have to look any further. It has ALL the information you could ever ask for about the area and what to do.

Thanks so much for allowing us to share your home and we cannot wait for next year!

I'm procrastinating at work so I'm catching up on reviews for favorite spots. But I saved the very best for last. Hubby and I had a wonderful second honeymoon here. OK, I did all the work and arrangements, but it was 100% worth it. Could the views be any more spectacular? Could we be in a better setting?? No! The house was wonderful, clean, fully equipped with everything we'd want - yep, yep. But the views!! And the location!! I thought I had died and gone to heaven, and I didn't want to go back home. The island is charming with lots to do, but I just simply didn't feel like doing much besides lounging around the sparkling blue pool and watch the water - and the occasional boat go by (check it out). Linda was extremely helpful, especially for those unfamiliar with the area (very). I had no idea about a lot of the things and she saved me some big headaches. If I could give more than five stars I would. This kind of service is rare these days, and so appreciated. Plus the cleaning ladies were so cheerful. But who wouldn't be living on this island with these views every day??

This vacation to Curacao was the first of many to come. Villa Seashell made it extra special. Linda is a pleasure to correspond with and Petra was absolutely wonderful. What a great team !! The villa is the best place to relax and so close to some great restaurants and activities. We can’t wait until the next time we visit the Villa !!!!

I am remiss in writing this as we have been home awhile from our vacation last spring. My husband surprised me with this trip to Curacao which we enjoyed very very much. One big reason we enjoyed it was the stay at Villa Seashell. It was very luxurious and beautiful. It was all we could have wished for. It was very clean and well supplied. We spent much of our time enjoying the very wonderful view. The other parts of our time was spent visiting suggestions Linda Lou gave to us regarding places to visit and eat. We would highly recommend Villa Seashell. It was also a good value.

***** What an "EXTREMELY PLEASANT" Experience renting the house, "VILLA SEASHELL" on Curacao . ***** We had 4 couples enjoying every minute of our vacation . (3) couples were from Long Island, New York and the 4th from Chicago, Illinois . "VILLA SEASHELL" is located in the CORAL ESTATES Subdivision, which is a Private, 24 hour, Guarded & Gated BEAUTIFUL AREA .. ***** "Villa Seashell" has a Great Floor Plan, 4 large separate Bedrooms each with a FULL Bathroom a 5th bathroom was a surprise along with the FULL KITCHEN, POOL "Overlooking the Ocean" FANTASTIC VIEWS !!!! . Large Comfortable Living Room, Separate Office Desk Area (for those that work even on vacation) Big 12 person Outside Table under the Deck, used by all when we decided to Dine In and ENJOY the OCEAN VIEW ! .. Separate Covered Seating "Gazebo" close to Ocean .. and .. a "Hidden Bench" on the edge to Relax and Dream Away . Within Walking distance (or ample parking if you prefer by car) is a GREAT RESTAURANT right on the BEACH with BEACH Chairs & Facilities to Enjoy before, during or after a meal (or ALL DAY LONG if you so desire) .. ALSO, right there, was a Bar with a Pool 100 feet away a 5 STAR "Upscale" Spa ..
.. AND most Important "VILLA SEASHELL" is Centrally Located to Many Other Restaurants, Beaches, Stores, Shopping, etc., etc., .. Supermarkets Had EVERYTHING someone from America could want, Restaurant Food was GREAT . Can't imagine a more excellent house to stay in on this incredible island. The house was spotless, the instructions we complete and helpful, the staff was on time and very efficient. All that was missing was a 24 hour butler, but we decided to stay at a rental for the privacy and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Everything about this experience was excellent and we will be telling our friends about it. Highly recommend.

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Villa Seashell. The location was excellent for us. We enjoyed going to the many beaches just a short drive away - but no one complained when it was time to come "home" to the Villa. Plenty of space for everyone inside and out. The 'gazebo' by the water was a favorite - listening to the sounds of the waves and enjoying the wonderful view. Very good dining was just a relaxing walk away. Wished we could've stayed longer.

Lindo Lou was very professional with all of our correspondence and sent us lots of information to help with our planning. Always quick to reply - even on her own holiday. Much appreciated.

Overall, certainly recommend both the villa and the island.

Holiday of a lifetime!!! From the moment we enquired about this villa to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on the 14th Feb, Linda has been astounding!! Beyond helpful. Gorgeous place, stunning location. Our daughter,son-in-law, 5 month grandson, son and fiancé have come back with all the same thoughts WOW, amazing. Truly magical. The view of the sea everyday, the peaceful sounds and spacious villa totally fabulous. Very secure estate. I can go on and on about this place and Curacao itself, one thing for certain, the Dutch people are the most friendliest nation. Totally without a shadow of a doubt recommend this awesome villa. What a super spot for a Caribbean holiday. Can you imagine a better place? The views were spectacular, the accommodations wonderful. Linda Lou was an excellent host with perfect English (she lived and worked in the US for quite sometime, so she understood what I was looking for). Not only was she able to recommend great spots to visit and restaurants to try, she also directed us to her extremely helpful blog. I'll stop heaping praise now as I could go on forever, but I would definitely recommend this terrific rental for an exotic vacation.

Linda Lou was really great to work with on all our planning. We were with seven people in the villa. The views were spectacular and the pool was great. There was plenty of space to lounge during the day and in the evening. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, etc. The A/C worked great. The lighting isn't the easiest to figure out, but we got it eventually.
The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The grill is a charcoal grill only but it works fine and takes getting used to for those of us used to gas grills. Probably the best thing to do is stop at the Centrum grocery store directly from the airport and then go to the house. That store has everything you need. Prices are about the same as in the US.
We cooked half the time in the house, and went out the other half. It's a good half hour drive to Willemstad, but easy to park and small enough to walk everywhere.
Overall, this was a very relaxing holiday and the villa really allowed us to wind down. It was great to go back to at the end of each day and was just nice to "hang" out at during the day. The sunsets were great. I'd definitely recommend this villa and thank you Linda Lou for being so easy to work with and fast to respond to our questions.
