Excellent place for a family trip. Safari around the farm is trilling for the kids and adults. The farm has orstiches and other animals. There is a small zoo with crocodile emu parrots peacocks mokeys turtles etc.guides are very friendly and informatuve. At the end of tour tourists get to feed the ostriches and take pictures and also get to ride them. Tourist are also allowed to stand on ostrich egg. The farm has gift shops and restaurant. Restaurants serves exotics dishes like ostrich steak and burger and many other things. The farm is excellent choice for kids.
Tours are actually the main source of income for the farm, they do not turnover that much Ostrich meat. However they do have a restaurant at the farm which serves meat and eggs (and good coffee). And a small zoo of other animals. Tour was enjoyable.
This was an awesome tour! Guide was excellent. Even our teenagers enjoyed it. :)
Really nice place to visit for a tour to see, feed and learn everything about ostriches. After the tour you can eat Ostrich and other great food at Zambezi restaurant. With an amazing view on St Joris Bay. I highly recommend.
Very knowledgeable guides and one learns a lota definite excursion for all ages
Worth it if you have time in Curaçao! It's pretty special to be able to feed the Ostriches!
Cool place to take your kids. It was a bit far away from the cruise port so definitely drive there with at least 3 to 4 hours to spend there.
Interesting tour of ostrich farm, loved the free range parrots and chickens . Didn't eat there so can't say anything about that. Although they have a large sprawling seating area to relax in. Would be nice if the animals had bigger enclosures. Good for a day out with children
Nice for the kids and nice if you like animals. At the end you can eat the ostrich in the restaurant. They tell a lot about the animals in a Nice way, in Dutch and english.
Great place for good exotic food and close animal encounter, such as ostriches.
Nice place, good restaurant! Definitely try the ostrich burger.
Our guide was friendly and informative. We got to feed the ostriches and there were other animals there as well, monkeys, several types of birds, crocs, and turtleslots of fun!
Great though pretty short tour in two languages (Dutch and English) that's pretty affordable, young children for free.
Fun place to take kids and learn more about Ostriches. You get to feed the ostriches and stand on their incredibly strong egg.
Great experience in Curacao. Supposed to be the largest Ostrich Farm outside of Africa and it is really, especially the guide gives a great effort and takes his time to answer all questions. Definitely worth a visit!
One of my favorite places! The ostrich meat was awesome! I wish I could have this meat more often! Other than that, it was like a petting zoo. Lots for kids to play with. We were on a buggy tour that ended us up here.
11/05/17 The tour group I was with went in a big safari vehicle which in turn made the farm tour easier for those with mobility issues. We saw ostriches of various ages, pot-bellied pigs walking freely around the farm, 2 crocodiles in a pond and towards the end of the tour we were given the chance to feed a female ostrich and take photographs. Back at the main building guests were allowed to stand on an egg and also hold an egg to feel its weight. There was also an ostrich chick, 8 days old, in a small pen. Sweet. Staff were very friendly.
Amazing experience. Loved the jeep tour with Alejandro. Paid the extra $35 to ride the ostrich. Then had lunch at the restaurant. Highly recommend. We ordered the ostrich steak and the ostrich egg crepe. Both great. The baguette that came with the egg was awesome as were the fries with the steak. The ostrich steak was delicious. Chef did a great job. Great restaurant with ostrich options to boot!
On the property they have some other animals to enjoy as well like parrots, peacocks and pigs.
I found that the guided tour and the guide's knowledge of the farm were very interesting. The farm seems to be well engineered ecologically and when times are good it can be profitable. But some of the other staff spoiled my experience. When my tour started at the appointed time, they did come to notify that it began even when I was right there very nearby. I had to ask about. Then my wife and I joined the tour when it started after a little bit. All I got from them is I could wait until the next tour hour. That sort of attitude really dampened my enthusiasm about the place. I can recommend the guide but not the supporting staff.
Take a tour and learn more about these animals and their habits. The restaurant specialises in Ostrichmeat. Give it a try it's really dilicious! A great place to visit with your family and friends, to give parties and for special occasions. Nice setup with also other animals. A shop where you can buy African and local gifts. The Curacao Ostrichfarm is a must to visit!
A nice experience. It's close to the aloe farm. The tour guide is so charismatic. Cute little baby ostriches and eggs!!!
Nice experience, we can really recommend it -
On an island where there is nothing to do this is a nice activity to spend the day.
The resteraunt is also quite nice and you can try delicious ostrich meat.
